All India Congress Committee Vice President Rahul Gandhi is back in political activity for the Congress, travelling from Kathmandu to the heart of Telangana's Warangal district. This is his first public appearance since travelling abroad in early April to negotiate with political strategist Prashant Kishor. Those talks eventually fell through, and the Congress is back to business as usual. Addressing the Warangal Sabha, Congress senior leader Rahul Gandhi remarked how the Congress and its Chief Sonia Gandhi helped Telangana people realise their goals. Rahul Gandhi also visited with the families of farmers who committed suicide and promised to assist them in all ways. Rahul's travel to Telangana comes three years after BJP President JP Nadda's recent massive public meeting in Mahbubnagar. While speaking to a media outlet, Telangana PCC Chief A Revanth Reddy expressed confidence that his party will bounce back and defeat TRS.
