Telugudesham party Chief Chandrababu Naidu, who launched the 'Badude Badudu' protest event against the state government's initiatives, has come down heavily at YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, Chief Minister, for raising taxes in the state. During his visit to Visakhapatnam district, the former Chief Minister stated that he is ready to quit politics if his claims about Jagan's government are proven false. The former Chief Minister said that during his tenure, he brought several companies to Visakhapatnam and questioned CM Jagan's accomplishments on this aspect. He has blasted Jagan's government, claiming that prices of essential daily items and fuel charges had increased under Jagan's administration. He has slammed CM Jagan over alleged SSC question paper leaks and atrocities against women. 'In the guise of social initiatives, CM Jagan has been cheating people,' the TDP chief claimed.
