Five sisters got selected as IAS officers in Rajasthan state
Three sisters from Bhairusari village in Hanumangarh district of Rajasthan, Anshu, Ritu, and Suman, made history by passing the Rajasthan Administrative Service (RAS) exam together. Interestingly, two of their elder sisters, Roma and Manju, passed the same exam a few years ago and are now in the state services.
Their father, who aspired to be an IAS official, was unable to realise his ambition and remained in his farming position. Sahdev Saharan, a farmer from Hanumangarh in Rajasthan, could only complete the eighth grade. His wife was unable to complete her schooling.
He did, however, give up his entire life for the sake of his children, who are now a source of inspiration for many people.
