Hyderabad: In a horrifying incident, a woman committed suicide by jumping from the ESI metro station on Tuesday night. According to the reports, the deceased identified as Shabana, a resident of Sri Ram Nagar reached the ESI metro station and jumped from there despite the locals urging her not to take the extreme step. She was found in a pool of blood and received severe injuries on her head and limbs. She was immediately rushed to the Gandhi hospital but died while undergoing treatment. Police preliminary reports revealed that she committed suicide after her family members did not accept her choice of life partner. Police registered a case and an investigation is underway.
