Kerala: In a tragic incident, a newly married man died after he slipped and drowned in the Kuttiyadi river in Kerala. The incident took place in the Kuttiyadi river at Kadiyangad on Monday. According to the reports, the deceased identified as KM Rejilal (28) got married to Khanika on March 4 and recently they completed the photoshoot at the same spot. It is said that on Monday, Rejilal, his wife and relatives visited the river and accidentally Rejlal and his wife Khanika slipped into the river. It is learned that a truck driver saved Khanika and was admitted to the nearby hospital. But, the groom died after he was trapped in a deep pit underwater. Earlier, it is said that he slipped into the river during the photoshoot but relatives said the photoshoot was completed a few days ago. Police registered a case and an investigation is going on.
