YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister, has promised to realise the dreams of late Minister Mekapati Goutham Reddy. The AP Chief Minister, who attended the condolence gathering at the VPR Convention Hall in Kanuparthipadu on Monday, paid floral tributes to the late minister. He said that he has known late Goutham Reddy from infancy and that Goutham is one year older than him. Highlighting Goutham Reddy's many talents, the CM stated that Goutham Reddy has entered politics solely due of his influence. YS Jagan stated that, in response to the request of Mekapati Rajamohan Reddy, former MP and Goutham's father, the Veligonda Project's Phase-2 works are being converted to Phase-1 for expedited completion. He also stated that they intend to rename their college as Udayagiri Agriculture/Horticulture University. He has promised to support the Minister's surviving family members.
