India, alongside 12 other UN Security Council members, voted against Russia's resolution on the humanitarian catastrophe in Ukraine. Russia and China voted in favour of the resolution, and no countries voted against it. India and the other Security Council members voted negative. The Russian resolution, which makes no mention of Russia's invasion of Ukraine, calls on all parties involved to ensure safe and unfettered travel to locations other than Ukraine. While other Council members issued remarks following the resolution's passage, India did not. India had previously abstained on resolutions on Russia's invasion of Ukraine on two occasions in the Security Council and once in the General Assembly.
