Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy flagged launched 163 DISHA patrolling cars on Wednesday to strengthen and enhance visible policing, a critical component of crime reduction. Chief Minister YS Jagan stated at the Disha vehicle launch ceremony that the DISHA mobile application has already been downloaded by 1.16 crore women on their cell phones. He stated that these vehicles are outfitted with a specialised GPS tracking system that can be monitored directly from the District Unit Control Room.
