Ahead of the release of RRR, the team of Ram Charan, Jr NTR, and SS Rajamouli has been extensively promoting for the film and visiting locations all across India and beyond. As part of it, the RRR crew visited Amritsar's Golden Temple to seek blessings. Later, while speaking to the media in Hindi, Jr NTR stated that this is his first visit and that he feels good and at peace after praying at the Golden Temple. He praised filmmaker Rajamouli, saying that due to him, they are able to visit many beautiful sites. He wants to see RRR become a smash hit in the lines of Baahubali.
