The Telangana High Court on Monday suggested three BJP MLAs Raghunandan Rao, Eatala Rajender, and T. Raja Singh, who were suspended from state Assembly last week, meet the Speaker. The court stated that the Speaker must make the final decision on whether or not to lift the suspensions of the MLAs. It instructed that the Legislature Secretary be in charge of arranging a meeting between the suspended MLAs and Speaker Pocharam Srinivas Reddy. The division bench issued the decision after counsel for the BJP MLAs informed it that a notice previously imposed by a single judge could not be served on the Legislature Secretary.
