IPL 2025: KKR Posts 204 Against DC with Collective Batting Show

Kolkata Knight Riders posted a formidable total against Delhi Capitals in a match held at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi, driven by solid performances from multiple batters. After winning the toss, Delhi Capitals chose to bowl first, sending Kolkata Knight Riders in to bat.

Batting first, Kolkata Knight Riders scored 204 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Angkrish Raghuvanshi top-scored with 44 runs, followed by Rinku Singh with 36, Sunil Narine with 27, Rahmanullah Gurbaz and captain Ajinkya Rahane, each contributing 26 runs, and Andre Russell adding 17 runs.

Among the Delhi Capitals bowlers, Mitchell Starc claimed 3 wickets, while captain Axar Patel and Vipraj Nigam took 2 wickets each. Dushmantha Chameera chipped in with one wicket. Notably, Mitchell Starc took two consecutive wickets in the final over of the innings, during which the Kolkata Knight Riders’ scoring rate also slowed down.
