Vallabhaneni Vamsi Faces Another Setback as Remand Extended Again

Vallabhaneni Vamsi Faces Another Setback as Remand Extended Again
In a setback for Vallabhaneni Vamsi, former MLA from Gannavaram and leader of the YSR Congress Party, the SC/ST Special Court has once again extended his remand in connection with the Satyavardhan kidnapping case. The court has extended the remand until May 6.

As Vallabhaneni Vamsi’s previous remand period was ending today, the prosecution’s lawyer strongly argued in court for an extension of his custody. The court accepted the prosecution’s arguments and ruled that the remand should be continued.

Along with Vallabhaneni Vamsi, the court extended the remand of four other accused individuals until May 6. Vallabhaneni Vamsi remains a remand prisoner at the Vijayawada District Jail in relation to this case.
