Chandrababu and Pawan Kalyan Pay Tribute to Ambedkar on His Birth Anniversary
Today marks the birth anniversary of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, the chief architect of the Indian Constitution. Celebrations commemorating this occasion are being held across the country. On this day, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan paid tributes to Dr. Ambedkar and shared their respects through social media.
Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu stated that, “Only when a community remains ever alert, educated, and driven by self-respect and self-confidence can it truly progress,” quoting Bharat Ratna Dr. Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar. He emphasized that everyone should work with dedication to uphold the self-respect of underprivileged communities and instill confidence in them. He called for the realization of an egalitarian society envisioned by Dr. Ambedkar.
In another tweet, Nara Chandrababu Naidu highlighted Ambedkar’s legacy as the principal architect of the Indian Constitution, the first Law Minister of independent India, and a stalwart of the freedom struggle. He urged everyone to recall Ambedkar’s service to the nation and rededicate themselves to the upliftment of Dalits.
Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan stated that Dr. B.R. Ambedkar’s ideals will continue to guide the administration. He expressed commitment to ensuring that the benefits of welfare and development reach every community. Paying rich tributes on the occasion of Ambedkar Jayanti, Pawan Kalyan praised Ambedkar as a visionary who identified social issues as the root cause of backwardness, even more than economic ones.
He remarked that Dr. Ambedkar undertook the constitutional drafting mission driven by his life experiences, pursuit of higher education, and desire to establish an egalitarian society. Referring to past incidents, he said that the nation should not forget the tragic death of Dr. Sudhakar, who faced humiliation under previous governments, and the murder of driver Subramanyam whose body was reportedly delivered to his doorstep. He described these as mere examples. Pawan Kalyan declared that the coalition government would instill confidence in all communities and take forward the mission envisioned by Dr. Ambedkar.
