Hyderabad Road Accident: Additional DCP Killed

A police officer lost his life in a road accident at Lakshmareddypalem near Hayathnagar in the early hours of Saturday. Additional DCP Babji, who resided at Maitri Kutir in Lakshmareddypalem, had gone for his regular morning walk.

While crossing the Vijayawada National Highway during his walk, he was hit by a speeding RTC bus, resulting in his death on the spot. Upon learning of the incident, police rushed to the scene and transported the body to a hospital for post-mortem examination. A case has been registered, and an investigation is underway.
