TFCC Condemns Betting App Ads, Seeks MAA Intervention

The Telangana Film Chamber of Commerce (TFCC) has issued a statement addressing the promotion of betting apps by actors. The organization noted that changes in the lifestyle of actors have led them to participate in promotions for betting apps. It stated that while some actors are promoting these apps unknowingly, others are doing so with full awareness.

In its announcement, the TFCC mentioned that it will request the Movie Artists Association (MAA) to take action against actors involved in betting app promotions. The TFCC intends to submit a formal letter to MAA within the next two days.

The TFCC emphasized that everyone, whether from the film industry or elsewhere, should adhere to the law and justice. It also mentioned that discussions about betting apps have been ongoing within the film industry for the past two days. The organization clarified that if the promotion of such apps is causing harm to society, then it is indeed wrong to support them.
