Directed by Rahul Sankrityan, the film’s intense action sequences and emotional moments have significantly raised expectations among audiences.
Based on real historical events that took place in the Rayalaseema region between 1854 and 1878, Ranabali narrates the story of a fearless warrior who fought against British colonial oppression. Adding international stature to the project, Hollywood actor Arnold Vosloo appears as a British officer.
The 3-minute-47-second trailer showcases Vijay Deverakonda in a commanding avatar, with gripping fight sequences and powerful dialogues that deliver goosebumps. This marks the first on-screen collaboration of Vijay and Rashmika after they became real-life husband and wife, following their earlier successful films Geetha Govindam and Dear Comrade. The real-life couple pairing has generated immense curiosity among fans.
Produced jointly by Mythri Movie Makers and T-Series, Ranabali features music by Ajay-Atul. The makers are all set to release the film as a Vijayadashami gift on October 16 in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam across the world. With its pan-India release plans, the film is already attracting high expectations from trade circles.
