Komatireddy Venkat Reddy Provides Key Update on Regional Ring Road (RRR)

Telangana Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy stated that he had discussions with Union Minister Nitin Gadkari regarding the Regional Ring Road (RRR) project planned around Hyderabad. Speaking in the Legislative Council, Komatireddy announced that the alignment for the southern part of the RRR has been finalized and will be submitted soon. He emphasized that the completion of this project would significantly transform Hyderabad’s infrastructure.

Komatireddy further stated that Gadkari assured him that work on the RRR would commence within two months. He mentioned that the project is expected to be completed within three and a half to four years. The minister also revealed that he had met Gadkari seven times regarding this project. Taking a dig at the opposition, he remarked that, unlike Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) leaders, his party does not have the practice of "selling roads."

Komatireddy urged the public to cooperate with the land acquisition process, assuring that compensation would be provided based on market rates. He also appealed to the public not to resort to attacks on officials, as such actions could hinder the development process.
