Jio Announces Free JioHotstar Subscription for Select Users Ahead of IPL 2024

However, after previously offering free access to IPL matches, Jio recently changed its policy following its merger with Hotstar. Now, users must have a minimum subscription to watch the matches. This decision initially disappointed many cricket fans who had been enjoying free streaming.

In a recent development, Jio has now offered a special benefit to its users. The company announced that select recharge plans will come with a free JioHotstar subscription for 90 days. Users who recharge with plans of ₹299 or more will receive complimentary access to JioHotstar, allowing them to watch IPL matches without additional charges.
