Students Protest After Razor Blade Found in Osmania University Hostel Food

Osmania University students staged a protest on Tuesday night after allegedly finding a razor blade in the food served at their hostel mess. The students, from the New Godavari Hostel, sat on the road holding a bowl of curry containing the blade, demanding intervention from the university’s Vice-Chancellor.

Expressing their distress, students stated that they discovered the razor blade while having their dinner and insisted on the provision of quality food. University officials, upon being informed of the incident, assured that an inquiry committee had been set up to investigate the matter.

A senior Osmania University official confirmed that an investigation was underway to determine how the foreign object ended up in the food and to ensure the safety and quality of meals provided to students.
