Amrutha Responds to Verdict in Pranay Murder Case

Amrutha has reacted to the verdict in the Pranay murder case, which had created a sensation in the Telugu states in 2018. The Nalgonda SC/ST Court has sentenced the second accused in the case to death, while the remaining accused have been sentenced to life imprisonment.

Expressing her views on social media, Amrutha stated that justice has been served and expressed hope that this ruling would deter further atrocities committed in the name of honor. She mentioned that her long wait had finally ended and that she was overwhelmed with emotions.

Amrutha extended her gratitude to the police department, the special public prosecutor, and media personnel for their support throughout the case. She also mentioned that her child is growing up, and in consideration of her mental well-being and his future, she has decided to stay away from media interactions. She clarified that she would not be holding any press conferences and urged well-wishers to respect their privacy.
