Chandrababu Bargains and Buys a Saree for Wife Bhuvaneshwari in Markapur

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu visited Markapur in Prakasam district today as part of his tour. During his visit, he inspected stalls set up by DWCRA women and examined various products made by them.

At one of the stalls selling sarees, Chandrababu Naidu selected a silk saree for his wife, Nara Bhuvaneshwari. Engaging in a conversation with the woman managing the stall, he inquired about the price of the saree. She informed him that it was priced at ₹26,400. After negotiating, Chandrababu Naidu purchased the saree for ₹25,000.

He also showed keen interest in the presence of Mangalagiri silk sarees at the stall and examined a shirt, dhoti, and angavastram set. Additionally, he interacted with the stall vendors, asking about their business performance. Chandrababu Naidu appreciated the stallholders for using eco-friendly cloth bags in their trade.
