A.B. Venkateswara Rao Named Chairman of AP Police Housing Corporation
The Andhra Pradesh government has issued an official order appointing A.B. Venkateswara Rao as the Chairman of Andhra Pradesh Police Housing Corporation Limited. A.B. Venkateswara Rao previously served as the Intelligence Chief.
During the previous YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) government, A.B. Venkateswara Rao faced corruption allegations and was suspended twice. However, after the new coalition government came into power, several decisions were made in his favor. The government not only revoked his suspension but also decided to consider the suspension period as in-service, ensuring that he receives his salary and other allowances for that duration.
With this latest appointment, A.B. Venkateswara Rao will serve as the Chairman of the Andhra Pradesh Police Housing Corporation Limited for a term of two years.
