In 2024, Arshdeep Singh delivered a stellar performance, featuring in 18 matches and claiming an impressive 36 wickets. This feat made him the leading wicket-taker for India in T20 internationals last year. Arshdeep played a pivotal role in India's triumph at the T20 World Cup, where he took 17 wickets across eight matches with a remarkable economy rate of 7.16.
Notably, Arshdeep Singh also holds the record for the most wickets by an Indian bowler in the T20 format. To date, he has taken 97 wickets in T20 internationals. With just three more wickets, he is set to become the first Indian bowler to reach the milestone of 100 wickets in T20Is, a record that will further cement his legacy in Indian cricket.
