Madhavi Latha Files Complaint Against JC Prabhakar Reddy with Film Chamber

Senior TDP leader JC Prabhakar Reddy has come under scrutiny again as actress Madhavi Latha lodged a formal complaint against him with the Film Chamber and the Movie Artists Association (MAA). In her complaint, Madhavi Latha alleged that Prabhakar Reddy used offensive language against her, describing his remarks as derogatory and aimed at personal defamation. She also criticized his repeated accusations against members of the film industry.

Madhavi Latha stated that an apology from JC Prabhakar Reddy would not suffice and expressed her determination to pursue legal action against him. She explained that her decision to approach the Film Chamber was prompted by the industry's lack of response to his remarks. Prior to filing the complaint, the actress also took to Instagram, posting, "My fight for justice," to voice her stance on the matter.

The controversy stems from an incident on December 31, during New Year's celebrations at JC Park. At the time, Madhavi Latha and BJP leader Sadineni Yamini had made comments about the event, prompting JC Prabhakar Reddy to respond with objectionable language, which led to widespread criticism. Following the backlash, Prabhakar Reddy retracted his comments and issued an apology.

However, Madhavi Latha’s recent complaint has reignited the issue, bringing it back into public attention. She emphasized that addressing such behavior is crucial to maintaining the dignity and respect of the film industry and its members.
