Smriti Mandhana Sets Record with Fastest ODI Century by an Indian Woman
Previously, the record for the fastest century in ODIs by an Indian woman was held by Harmanpreet Kaur, who had reached the milestone in 87 balls. Notably, this was Mandhana’s 10th ODI century. She delivered an impressive performance, scoring 135 runs off just 80 balls, which included 7 sixes and 12 fours, before being dismissed.
Mandhana, along with her opening partner Prateeksha Rawal, put up a record-breaking 233-run partnership for the first wicket, setting a solid foundation for the Indian team in the match.
