Good News for Public Sector Employees in Telangana

The Telangana government has brought good news for public sector employees. A new government order (GO) has been issued, ensuring that employees in public sector organizations will now receive an Incremental Revision (IR) on par with state government employees.

This new order applies to employees in government-owned corporations, non-teaching staff in universities, cooperative society workers, and pensioners from these institutions. They will now receive an interim relief (IR) equal to that of government employees and pensioners. The government has announced a 5% increase in the basic pay as part of this revision.

This move comes after the government had earlier announced an IR hike for state government employees and pensioners in October of the previous year. Responding positively to various requests from different sectors, Revanth Reddy's government has now extended this benefit to other employees as well through the newly issued GO.
