Raghu Rama Harassment Case: Court Orders 14-Day Custody for CID Retired ASP Vijay Paul

In the custodial torture case involving Andhra Pradesh Deputy Speaker Raghu Rama Krishna Raju, the court has ordered a 14-day remand for CID retired ASP Vijay Paul. Following his interrogation at the Ongole SP office yesterday, Vijay Paul was arrested by the police. He was transferred to Guntur today and presented before the court.

The police have requested custody of Vijay Paul, alleging that a conspiracy was behind the torture of Raghu Rama Krishna Raju. They argued before the court that Vijay Paul's custodial interrogation is necessary to uncover the individuals involved in the conspiracy. Subsequently, the court granted a two-week remand for Vijay Paul.
