Chandrababu accuses YSRCP leaders of resorting to attacks fearing election defeat

Amaravati: TDP National President Chandrababu has criticized YSRCP leaders for resorting to attacks due to the fear of losing in the elections. He accused them of undermining democracy by relying on anarchic tactics.
Chandrababu remarked that the eagerness of people to bid farewell to the anarchic and corrupt governance of Jagan is evident as they have been lining up to vote since the early hours of the morning. He claimed that the visible impending defeat has provoked YSRCP leaders to initiate attacks wherever possible.
Chandrababu alleged, "Out of frustration, they are creating chaos, obstructing paths, and engaging in illegal activities, posing a danger to democracy. They are not only attacking coalition candidates but also targeting media personnel and police officers. The attacks on female voters and leaders are making a mockery of democracy. There has never been an incident in the country's history where women and children were attacked like this."
He further detailed specific incidents of violence, including a brutal attack on TDP leader Julakanti Brahma Reddy and hundreds of party workers in Macharla. In Narasaraopet, YSRCP goons attacked the MP candidate Lavu Krishnadevarayalu and vandalized cars. Other reported instances of violence included an assault on TDP MLA Peddareddy and his son in Tadipatri, a car being driven into a crowd questioning the development work of YSRCP MP candidate Kilari Rosiah in Guntur, and an attack at a polling booth in Srikakulam on TDP candidate Gondi Shankar.
The situation was also tense in Kambhampadu where YSRCP goons chased and attacked a group led by Keshineni Chinni, destroying cars. Chandrababu cited these instances as a violation of the election code and emphasized that the police must dismantle these conspiracy attempts by YSRCP leaders to create terrifying conditions at polling centers. He urged for stringent security measures in problematic areas to ensure every citizen can exercise their voting rights freely and safely.
