Vegetable vendor gang-r*ped near Ongole
Prakasam, October 14: A gang-r*ape of a vegetable vendor on the outskirts of Ongole came to light on Friday. According to police, a woman was returning to her native village from Ongole on her two-wheeler after selling vegetables.
On Tuesday night, two unidentified men followed her on a bike in an inebriated condition. In secluded place in between Koppolu and Guthikondavaripalem, they hit her vehicle and dragged her into the nearby bushes and raped her. The accused fled away from the spot after committing crime. The police registered a case on Wednesday and sent victim to GGH for medical tests. Cops reportedly identified the accused.
