Nara Lokesh condemns vandalism of Anna Canteen at Kuppam bus stand
Chittoor, August 30: Unidentified persons destroyed Anna Canteen and TDP flexis at RTC bus stand in Kuppam town on Monday night. On knowing the information, the TDP activists gathered in large number at Anna Canteen site and alleged that the YSRCP workers were behind the destruction.
TDP national general secretary Nara Lokesh condemned the ghastly act of damaging the Anna Canteen which has been providing food to the poor for the last 86 days. He criticised the YSRCP government for withdrawing permission to run Anna Canteens throughout the state.
Lokesh vowed to continue Anna Canteens despite resistance from the ruling state government. He demanded that the Jagan government should catch culprits responsible for destroying Anna Canteen and ensure stern punishment to them.
Few days ago, clashes broke out between the TDP and YSRCP functionaries during Kuppam tour of TDP chief N. Chandrababu Naidu. Both party leaders blamed each other for clashes.
