Inefficient CM Jagan blaming Chandrababu for Polavaram delay: Devineni Uma

Amaravati, August 23: Former minister and TDP leader Devineni Umamaheswara Rao slammed the YSRCP MPs for not exerting pressure on the Modi government to fulfil bifurcation promises including Special Category Status (SCS). 
 
Speaking to the media here on Tuesday, he criticised Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy for blaming TDP national president N. Chandrababu Naidu for delay in completion of Polavaram Project. “The YSRCP government failed to implement Resettlement and Rehabilitation (R&R) package to Polavaram displaced,” he faulted. 
 
The TDP leader alleged that reimbursed amount for diaphragm wall of the Polavaram Project was given as advance to liquor manufacturing companies. “YSRCP leaders damaged Polavaram’s lower cofferdam by mining sand indiscriminately,” he said.
 
Devineni Uma further stated that the CM has no intention to do good for people except for sending the TDP leaders to prisons. He flayed the YSRCP leaders for saying state government’s permission needed to visit Polavaram site.
