Balakrishna flags off NTR Arogya Ratham, free mobile hospital, for Hindupur people

Hindupur, August 17: Tollywood actor and TDP MLA Nandamuri Balakrishna on Wednesday flagged off NTR Arogya Ratham at Chalivendala village in Hindupur mandal. Earlier, he and his wife Vasundhara have offered prayers at a temple.
 
Speaking on the occasion, Balakrishna said for the first time an ECG, pulse oximeter and advanced microscope was arranged in the mobile hospital. “200 tests can be done using medical equipment available in Arogya Ratham,” he mentioned.
 
The MLA stated that 107 types of medicines will be distributed free to patients. “Arogya Ratham will provide medical services in Hindupur constituency with the support of Basavatarakam Indo American Cancer Hospital,” he said.
 
The actor-turned-politician further said that services of NTR Arogya Ratham will be extended throughout the state in the future with the support of the NTR Charitable Trust. He made an appeal to people of Hindupur constituency to make use services provided by mobile hospital. “To prevent damage to vehicle from rival political groups, CCTV cameras were fitted in Arogya Ratham,” he revealed.
