Seniors force juniors to have ‘unnatural sex’ at MGM Medical College in Indore

Indore (Madhya Pradesh): For many college days are ‘Happy Days’. Hence, many people from Telugu states recall the ‘Happy Days’. In that movie, the scene where juniors are being ragged by seniors brings laughter as well as anger. While some students remember the ragging of their seniors in the first days of their college, some laugh, while others tremble with fear.

Recently, a similar incident took place in a medical. The seniors, who forgot their humanity, resorted to unruly actions toward the juniors. They reportedly behaved rudely with the junior girls. The police registered a case against them based on a complaint by juniors. This incident took place in Madhya Pradesh.

According to the details, the seniors of Mahatma Gandhi Medical College in Indore resorted to unruly behaviour in the name of ragging. They called juniors to their hostel rooms and misbehaved with them. They were forced to have 'sex with pillows'.

Similarly, they behaved rudely with the junior girls. They threatened them to beat each other. Due to this, the juniors could not bear the harassment of the seniors and called the anti-ragging helpline number of the University Grants Commission and explained the atrocity.

Taking the incident seriously, the UGC stepped into the field and conducted an investigation. The UGC directed the college management to identify the seniors, who harassed the students and take strict action against them. With this, the police registered cases against the seniors under the Anti-Ragging Act-2009.
