TDP politicising boat overturn incident: Taneti Vanitha
Rajahmundry, July 22: Minister for Home and Disaster Management Taneti Vanitha on Friday slammed the TDP for politicising boat overturn incident at Razole in Dr B.R. Ambedkar Konaseema district.
Speaking to the media here, she said that the NDRF teams have rescued former ministers and TDP leaders, who fell in water. “The AP government is ready to order a probe if the TDP wants,” she stated.
The minister mentioned that boat capsized due to overweight on one side while TDP leaders entering into it. “Chandrababu resorting to dirty politics by taking up tour after receding of floodwater,” she flayed.
Vanitha mentioned that officials have alerted people living in low-lying areas in advance and shifted them to relief camps. “The YSRCP government is extending all support to flood victims,” she said and added that the TDP is blaming the YSRCP in order to cover up its internal squabbles.
