Not a single govt school closed, Chandrababu misleading people: MP Vijayasai

Tadepalli, July 7: YSRCP Rajya Sabha member Vijayasai Reddy refuted allegations of TDP chief N. Chandrababu Naidu over closure of 8,000 government schools. Speaking to the media here on Thursday, he said that not a single government school is closed. He slammed Chandrababu for trying to stop welfare schemes by filing petitions in courts.

The MP stated that the YSRCP government is procuring liquor from distilleries secured licence during the previous Chandrababu government. “Till date, my government had credited Rs 1.4 lakh crore into the accounts of beneficiaries,” he mentioned.

Vijayasai hit back at the TDP chief for alleging that the YSRCP is mobilising DWCRA women for the plenary. “We have sent invitations to the YSRCP leaders and workers. They will only attend plenary,” he clarified. He came down heavily on Chandrababu for not fulfilling the election promise of giving a job to each family in the state. Minister Jogi Ramesh also present.
