From day one, YSRCP ready for next Assembly elections: Minister Ambati

Guntur, July 7: Speaking to the media after inspecting arrangements of the two-day YSRCP plenary to be held in an open ground near Acharya Nagarjuna University (ANU) from July 8, Irrigation Minister Ambati Rambabu on Thursday said that the party is ready for next Assembly elections from the day one of coming to power.

To a question, he stated that the YSRCP has responsibility to tell people from plenary regarding the poll promises fulfilled in the last three years and future course of action in the next two years.

Ambati mentioned that YSRCP president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy set a target of achieving 175 MLA seats in the ensuing Assembly elections. “Why can’t TDP chief Chandrababu face defeat when former prime minister Indira Gandhi and TDP founder N.T. Rama Rao lost elections,” he asked.

The minister condemned the news reports of gap is existing between the YSRCP leaders and cadre. “Our party ensured perfect coordination between leaders and workers in all activities,” he added.
