Puttaparthi municipal commissioner commits suicide by jumping before train

Sri Sathya Sai, June 25: In a shocking incident, Puttaparthi Municipal Commissioner K. Munikumar committed suicide by jumping before a train at Utukur on the outskirts of Kadapa city. The deceased, who was working as superintendent in the Kadapa Municipal Corporation, was posted as civic body chief on deputation three months ago.
 
According to reports, Munikumar came to Kadapa on a personal work two days ago from Puttaparthi. The police registered a case of suspicious death and sent the body to the Kadapa’s RIMS Hospital for post-mortem. Cops began probe to know if anyone drove him to take extreme step or killed himself for personal reasons.
