Eluru: Bride commits suicide hours before marriage

Eluru, June 8: A bribe committed suicide by hanging herself to a ceiling fan at Jajulakunta village in Dwaraka Tirumala mandal on Tuesday night. The marriage of 25-year-old, who had completed her degree, was fixed with a youngster of Lakkavaram village in Jangareddigudem mandal.
 
She took extreme step after entering into a room for changing her dress. As she did not come out of her room even after one hour, family members and relatives grew suspicious and broke open door. They found her hanging to the ceiling fan.
 
According to reports, her ex-boyfriend sent their intimate photos to bridegroom. Unable to bear insult, she killed herself. The marriage was scheduled on Wednesday. The kin of deceased demanded that the police should take action against her ex-boyfriend by registering a case against him. However, the police said that they did not receive any complaint from family members of deceased. A pall of gloom descended on Jajulakunta village.
