Audio of Minister Pinipe’s son threatening MPTC over Amalapuram violence goes viral

Konaseema, June 2: An audio of Transport Minister Pinipe Viswaroop’s son Krishna Reddy threatening YSRCP MPTC Adapa Sathibabu has gone viral on social media. He warned to break his legs for setting his father’s house on fire during violence erupted in Amalapuram over renaming of Konaseema district into Dr. BR Ambedkar Konaseema district. The police are verifying as to whether the voice belongs to Krishna Reddy or not.
 
In the audio, Krishna Reddy was heard saying that the MPTC did harm to his father for encouraging him in politics. He stated that a few anti-social elements were involved in Amalapuram violence. “You have seen innocence of Pinipe Viswaroop. From now onwards, you will see anger of Krishna Reddy,” he told Sathibabu. 
The police arrested more than 100 protesters for pelting stones towards cops and setting houses of Viswaroop and Mummudivaram MLA Ponnada Satish on fire. Additional forces were deployed to ensure law and order is in place.
