Balakrishna to kick-start NTR's 100th birth anniversary fete at Nimmakuru on May 28

Hyderabad: Tollywood actor Nandamuri Balakrishna released a note to his fans and the people regarding his father Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao’s 100th birth anniversary fete. In the note, he says, "To the fans …To the Telugu soil... and the Telugu people across the world … greetings from Nandamuri Balakrishna. My father, who entered the film industry made Telugu cinema proud. He established Telugu Desam Party .. and made sure Telugu culture stood out... The 100th birth anniversary of my father Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao will start on May 28.. and will continue till May 28, 2023, 365 days."

Arrangements are being made to hold the centenary celebrations of Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao, a prominent figure, film actor, TDP founder and former Chief Minister, who spread the self-respect of the Telugu nation in all directions. Centenary celebrations will begin at his hometown Nimmakuru in Andhra Pradesh on a grand note.

"Our Nandamuri family attends these celebrations in many countries. One member of our family participates in the monthly programme every month. As part of that, I will go to our hometown Nimmakuru in Andhra Pradesh on May 28 and participate in the celebrations there. During the celebrations five films of NTR per week will be screened, will conduct two conferences a week and two awards ceremonies per month."
