Sequel to Nandamuri Balakrisha-Boypati Sreenu 'Akhanda' is on the cards

Hyderabad: 'Akhanda' directed by Boyapati Sreenu was a sensational success with Balakrishna as the protagonist. It has set new records not only in the Telugu states, but also in overseas collections. It became the highest-grossing film in Balakrishna’s career. The film managed to impress both young and old alike.

Boyapati hinted that there will be a sequel to that movie. He later spoke on stage on some occasions and clarified that there will be a sequel to the film. But, he said that there is time for that. Now it is reported that Boyapati's writing department is working on the sequel story of the movie.

The girl in this movie will enter into teens and the sequel story starts with 'Akhanda' coming back for the word given to her. Balakrishna is acting in Gopichand Malineni's film and after that, he will take up Anil Raviudi’s film. He will act in the ‘Akhanda’ sequel after finishing those two films.
