BCs in TDP only for photo-op: Beeda Mastan Rao
Rao said that no CM of Andhra Pradesh in the past had sent a politician from Yadava community to the Upper House. He slammed TDP supremo N. Chandrababu Naidu for not rendering justice to BCs. “I was associated with the TDP for the last 30 years but BCs did not get priority. TDP considers BCs only for photo-op,” he stated.
Mastan mentioned that CM Jagan giving importance to BCs as he selected him and National Backward Classes Welfare Association president R. Krishnaiah as Rajya Sabha members. To a question, Rao said that the YSRCP did not pick up candidates for the Rajya Sabha considering their financial strength. He gave a call to BC, SC, ST and minorities to ensure Jagan as CM for AP lifelong.
