Atchannaidu condemns arrest of TDP leader Narayana

Vijayawada, May 10: AP TDP president Atchannaidu on Tuesday condemned the arrest of former TDP minister and Narayana Group of Educational Institutions founder P. Narayana and his wife Rama Devi in a case related to leaking of tenth question papers.
 
He asked as to why the CID police arrested Narayana when Education Minister Botsa Satyanarayana himself said that no question papers were leaked. He described arrest of Narayana as political vendetta. “The YSRCP government is trying to blame Narayana for its failure in conducting SSC exams without leaking question papers,” he flayed.
 
Atchannaidu further said that Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy is using police for illegal arrest of the TDP leaders to divert the people’s attention from his misrule. In the last three years, the CM gave priority for taking revenge on the TDP leaders by arresting them with false cases, he alleged. Other TDP leaders also condemned Narayana’s arrest.
