Samantha tastes first failure after divorce with Naga Chaitanya
Hyderabad, April 30: After divorce with actor Naga Chaitanya, actress Samantha had played a full-fledged role in Tamil romantic comedy film Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal. Apart from Sam, Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara have played lead roles in the movie directed by Vignesh Shivan. Anirudh Ravichander had scored the music. The film hit screens on the day of Samantha’s birthday.
According to reports, majority movie lovers are unaware about the release of Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal in theatres. As the film bombed at box office, netizens are commenting that Samantha has tasted first failure after splitting with Naga Chaitanya. Even the flop talk will also have an impact on her upcoming projects, they said.
Samantha is playing lady-oriented roles in Telugu films. They are Shaakuntalam, a mythological drama film written and directed by Gunasekhar and science fiction thriller movie Yashoda. She finished shooting for Shaakuntalam and flick will be released very soon while Yashoda is slated for release in theatres in August 2022.
