Chandrababu, Pawan Kalyan speaking same agenda on farming: Minister Kakani

Speaking after taking charge as Agriculture Minister, Kakani Govardhan Reddy on Thursday slammed Leader of Opposition N. Chandrababu Naidu for criticising the YSRCP government. He stated that the TDP national president had cheated farmers without waiving off their Rs 1 lakh crore loans when he was chief minister from 2014 to 2019. 
 
The minister said that the YSRCP government has been fulfilling the election promise of paying Rs 13,500 to each eligible farmer every year. To a question, Kakani stated that Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan should speak about acting and movies and not farmers. “Pawan Kalyan is speaking the agenda set by the TDP regarding farm issues," he flayed.
 
Govardhan further said that either Chandrababu or Pawan Kalyan have no basic knowledge about farming. "TDP supremo has no right to talk about farmers," he stated and added that people and farmers are not in a position to believe the deceptive words of Chandrababu and Pawan Kalyan.
