Telugu film Gandhi Tata Chettu received praise from the President of India.
“The effort of a girl to save a tree has been portrayed very emotionally in Gandhi Tata Chettu. If more such films come, they will bring not only a good message to society but also awareness among the youth. Sukruti Veni, who acted in the lead role of this film, has shown very good performance,” said President of India Droupadi Murmu.
The 71st National Film Awards ceremony was held on Tuesday at Vigyan Bhavan in Delhi. At this event, the winners received awards, mementos, and certificates from the President. On this occasion, Droupadi Murmu specially mentioned the movie Gandhi Tata Chettu in her speech and congratulated Sukruti for her acting, which is worth noting.
Sukruti Veni, daughter of noted director Sukumar, played the lead role in Gandhi Tata Chettu and received the National Award for Best Child Actress for her performance. At today’s awards ceremony, she received the award from the President’s hands.
The film was directed by Padmavathi Malladi, presented by Tabitha Sukumar, and produced by Naveen Erneni, Ravishankar Yalamanchili, and Shesha Sindhula. The film has also won several awards at various international film festivals.
