Jagan’s Quash Petition Hearing in Singaiah case Postponed by Two Weeks
The High Court had earlier issued a stay on the investigation related to the case. During yesterday’s proceedings, the government counsel requested additional time to present arguments. In response, the court postponed the hearing by two weeks.
The case stems from an incident during Jagan Mohan Reddy’s tour of Palnadu, where YSRCP worker Singaiah accidentally died after being run over by a vehicle. The incident sparked significant controversy and led to a verbal exchange between ruling and opposition parties. Following the incident, the police registered a case naming Jagan Mohan Reddy, the vehicle’s driver, and several YSRCP leaders as accused.
