Unexpected Showers in Hyderabad Leave Roads Waterlogged

Due to the impact of a low-pressure system formed over the West Bay of Bengal, weather conditions have suddenly cooled across Telangana. On Tuesday, several districts in the state witnessed rainfall, and the weather in Hyderabad city changed completely from the evening onwards. Moderate rainfall was recorded in many areas of the city.

Specifically, rain began falling in the evening across multiple localities including Secunderabad, Alwal, Lingampally, Kukatpally, Jubilee Hills, Suraram, and Borabanda, among others. The unexpected downpour led to waterlogging on several roads, causing inconvenience to commuters trying to reach their destinations. In some places, traffic was slightly disrupted due to the accumulation of rainwater.
