Honda Launches New Bike in India
Renowned automobile manufacturer Honda has launched a new bike in the Indian market. The company has unveiled the CB1000 Hornet SP, which is designed to attract youth with its appealing looks and advanced premium features.

The Honda CB1000 Hornet SP is powered by a robust 999cc inline four-cylinder engine. This powerful engine delivers 155 bhp at 11,000 rpm and 107 Nm of torque at 9,000 rpm. It is paired with a 6-speed gearbox. According to the company, this engine offers an exceptional riding experience for enthusiasts.

In terms of design, the bike features a mass-appeal look. The LED projector headlamp at the front imparts a bold character to the vehicle. The fuel tank design and the elevated tail section contribute to its stylish street-bike appearance. A strong steel frame has been used in the construction of the bike.

On the suspension front, the bike is equipped with Showa SFF-BP forks at the front and an Öhlins TTX36 monoshock at the rear. These components ensure a comfortable ride across various road conditions. The alloy wheels are fitted with tubeless tyres. For braking, the CB1000 Hornet SP comes with dual disc brakes at the front and a single disc brake at the rear, offering efficient performance and complete control for the rider.

The bike is packed with several modern features for rider convenience. It includes three preset riding modes: Rain, Standard, and Sport. Additionally, two ‘User’ modes allow riders to customize settings such as throttle response and traction control according to their preferences. The bike also features a 5-inch color TFT display and Bluetooth connectivity.

The ex-showroom price of the Honda CB1000 Hornet SP in the Indian market is set at ₹12.35 lakh. It is expected to compete strongly with models such as the Kawasaki Z900, Triumph Street Triple R, and RS. Currently, Honda has released only the high-end SP version. However, the company may introduce a standard version in the future to make the bike more accessible. With its powerful engine and cutting-edge features, the CB1000 Hornet SP is poised to impress riders in the premium segment.
