Mystery Surrounds Suicide of Telangana Jawan in Jammu and Kashmir

Sampangi Nagaraju, a jawan from Telangana stationed in Jammu and Kashmir, died by suicide while on duty. According to available information, the incident occurred three days ago when he used his service revolver to take his own life. The authorities did not immediately disclose the occurrence and reportedly kept the matter confidential.

On Tuesday, Nagaraju’s mortal remains were transported to his native village and handed over to his parents by the officials. The return of Nagaraju, who had left home to serve the nation, as a deceased brought a wave of grief over the village. His family members, relatives, and friends have been plunged into mourning.

Nagaraju’s family members expressed anguish that although he died by suicide three days ago, the authorities failed to inform them promptly. The exact reason behind Nagaraju’s suicide remains unclear. Officials stated that an investigation is currently underway into the circumstances surrounding his death.
